The Magician

"Look closely – you have everything you need."

Your life contains everything it needs. You have all the potential to live it to the full. Spiritual energy needs to be channelled and brought into everyday life. It is the spirit of practice, which requires accepting full responsibility for everything we do – for our deeds and their consequences. Every decision we make affects our own life and the lives of others. The standing figure has the courage to use all their resources to reach their goal, and all the elements are represented here. The Magician is a personality card: at the heart of a personality are the tools we know how to work with and the abilities we know how to use. But we have to want to! The Magician is the one who makes things happen and carries the lineage forward. Their archetype appears in fairy tales, films and series.

Asking about a person?

Each one of us – a person, a magician and a charlatan. A sorcerer and a manipulator. Someone who knows how to turn things around, how to act and how to create optical illusions. Also the messenger of the gods, who shows us that everyday life is only an illusion. Anyone who works with what they have and knows what they have, knows who they are; the first chakra – red, the colour of spells in magic. Focused and self-confident.

Asking about a child?

If you bind a Magician child with rules and don't let them try everything, they will rage and sulk, and you will lose a trust that is hard to win back.

What can you do to help things turn out well?

When we want to, we can do anything – and the flip side is that when we don't want to, we use all of this to wriggle out of it.

What should you avoid?

Don't misuse your abilities or scheme.

Relationships?

Diplomacy and common sense.

Money and work?

The Magician is first everywhere and cannot bear to be last. They struggle to see things through to the end, but are happy to explain to those who can so that they finish the job. They thrive in a role where they solve the unsolvable. They need freedom and room to move – then they are responsible, thorough and careful.

Health?

The Magician has everything within them to stay in robust health. What helps is knowing how to work with their own energy.
